A call for applications is open for doctoral internship (sandwich), that lasts 6 months, in the study areas of Engineering and Technology in nine European institutions through the Be Mundus project, financed by the European Commission.

The doctoral internship can be done in the following institutions:

• Sapienza Università di Roma (Italy);
• Universidade do Porto (Portugal);
• Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal);
• Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata” (Italy);
• Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium);
• Cardiff Metropolitan University (United Kingdom);
• Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany);
• University of Zagreb (Croatia);
• Silesian University of Technology (Poland).

The project will cover the expenses with trip, taxes (1500 euros), health insurance and university fees. Applications can be made at the project website.

The deadlines for the application are 15 May, 15 July and 15 September, for starting the internship in September, October and December, respectively.
