10:23:40

Yellow September (“Setembro Amarelo” in Portuguese) is an awareness campaign for preventing suicide, whose goal is to alert the population about the reality of suicide in Brazil and all over the world, as well as how to prevent it. It takes place every September, since 2014, through the identification  of public and private places in yellow color and a wide dissemination of information about the subject.

At UFSC, the Coordination Office for Health Promotion and Surveillance (CPS/DAS/PRODEGESP) is distributing booklets, stickers and promoting a lecture about the topic on 5 September at 2 p.m.. All the university community is invited to attend.
