There are two internship vacancies open at the Office of International Relations ‒ SINTER.

Students from the following undergraduate programs can apply (exclusively from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina):

• Administration
• Law
• Language and Literature
• International Relations
• Executive Secretariat

Total Hours per week: 20 hours working remotely.

(The activities will be carried out entirely remotely for the duration of the social distancing measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

Vacancies:

• 1 vacancy to work morning hours
• 1 vacancy to work afternoon hours

Remuneration: R$ 787.98 (monthly).

Requirements:

• Be regularly enrolled in an undergraduate program at UFSC, in the 2nd semester of studies or beyond;
• Have a Cumulative Semester Grade Point Average (IAA) of 6.0 (six) or higher;
• Have not failed any course due to unsatisfactory attendance (FI) in the previous semester;
• Be available to work 20 hours/week;
• Show excellent writing skills;
• Be able to operate administrative systems;
• Show responsibility, initiative and punctuality;
• Have fluency in other languages (desirable but not required).

Internship duties: assist in the reception of international students and professors at UFSC, as well as carrying out documentation and migration procedures: giving guidance and operating documents related to the legal registration of students according to the Federal Police’s criteria; serving the university community; operating e-mails and administrative systems; updating spreadsheets, etc.

The students interested in the internship must send an e-mail to programas.sinter@contato.ufsc.br, until 17 February, with the following documents:

1. Certificate of enrollment;
2. Up-to-date Academic Transcript;
3. Curriculum Vitae.

The e-mail must contain all the documents described above, with the subject “Inscrição ‒ Estágio SINTER 2021”, and the files must be in PDF format with the name of the student, as in the following examples: “FirstNameLastName.atestado”; “FirstNameLastName.historico”; “FirstNameLastName.curriculo”.

The selection will be carried out based on the above requirements, a curriculum analysis and an online interview with the selected applicants. The selected students will receive an e-mail with the date and time for the online interview.
