Applications are open until 16 July 2021 for the XXVIII Jornadas de Jóvenes Investigadores by the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM). The event will take place, virtually, between 10 and 12 November and will be organized by the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH).

The central theme of this edition of the Jornadas is “Generating knowledge from the south for the post-pandemic world”. Students will be able to register papers in 37 research themes, divided among the 4 thematic axes: Interdisciplinary, humanities, exact sciences, life sciences.

The international event will be attended by researchers from Brazilian, Argentinean, Bolivian, Chilean, Paraguayan, and Uruguayan member universities of the Montevideo Group.

UFSC will select up to 40 papers from undergraduate and graduate programs for presentation at the event.
