The annual event of the Brazilian Association of International Education (FAUBAI) in Southern Brazil took place this Monday, 13 December. The program included several lectures on aspects of the post-pandemic internationalization given by prominent professors in the area.

This year’s meeting was held online and was organized by the following HEIs: Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE), Universidade Estadual do Norte do Paraná (UENP), Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul (UNISC), Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (UFRGS).

The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Lincoln Fernandes (Secretary for International Relations at UFSC), Prof. Dr. Rafael Mattielo (FAUBAI Regional Sul), Prof. Dr. Márcio Venício Barbosa (President of FAUBAI). Profa. Dr. Luciane Stallivieri (UFSC), Prof. Dr. Nicolas Maillard (UFRGS) and Prof. Dr. Carla Cassol (PUCRS).

All lectures were streamed live on FAUBAI’s YouTube Channel.

FAUBAI was created in 1988 and brings together managers and directors of international affairs from more than 200 Brazilian higher education institutions. It promotes integration, training, seminars, workshops, meetings at regional, national and international levels, and an annual conference.
