Application Calendar


We are pleased to announce that we are receiving international undergraduate students for virtual mobility (i.e. distance learning activities) in the second academic semester of 2021 (2021-2), from 25 October 2021 to 27 March 2022.

Our 2021-2 application calendar for incoming exchange students is as follows.

Student nominations (by the Home institution) Between 20 and 30 September 2021
Students’ application Between 21 September and 3 October 2021
Application confirmation from the Home institution Until 4 October 2021
Acceptance in the courses and enrollment at UFSC  Until 25 October 2021
Beginning of the academic semester (2021.2) 25 October 2021
Semester break Between 19 December 2021 and 31 January 2022
Semester return 2021.2 1 February 2022
End of the academic semester (2021.2) 27 March 2022

Important Information

1) If your institution does not have access to the UFSC application system yet, we kindly ask you to inform us the e-mail address of the person responsible for nominating students, so that we can send them a password. If you already have a password, this is the link you should use to nominate the students:

2) The course activities will be carried out exclusively online through the Moodle learning platform. They may include synchronous and asynchronous activities, using information and communication technologies at the discretion of the course instructors and the teaching departments.

3) In the application system, students can apply for up to two courses. Changes in the selection of courses may be made after enrollment, but they should not exceed the course limit. Note: Mobility in the Medicine Program at UFSC runs independently from SINTER, so we kindly ask you to not consider this calendar for application to the Medicine Program.
