The Projeto Milton Santos de Acesso ao Ensino Superior (PROMISAES), of the Ministry of Education (MEC), aims at enhancing technical , scientifc and cultural cooperation between Brazil and all countries with which we have agreements – especially African ones – in educational and cultural areas.
The project offers financial support worth R$ 622,00 (six hundred, twenty two reais) for foreign students in the Programa de Estudantes-Convênio de Graduação (PEC-G), regularly enrolled in undergraduate courses at Higher Education Institutions (IFES). The financial support aims at maitaining students in their courses, once most of them come from poor countries.
To apply to PROMISAES, the student, apart from being enrolled at one IFES, should have a good academic performance, accordint to his/her university requirements.
PROMISAES awarded studenst at UFSC will be selected through Public Calls of the International Affairs Office (SINTER).
