The PEC-G students regularly enrolled at UFSC can apply for the following scholarships or grants:

• • Milton Santos Project for Access to Higher Education (PROMISAES), offered by the Ministry of Education.
  • Call for Applications No. 3/2023/SINTER – PROMISAES (PEC-G students)
  • Amendment of the Call for Applications 3 SINTER 2023 –  PROMISAES 2023
  • Students awarded PROMISAES 2023 Call for Applications (PEC-G students)
  • Merit Scholarship (Bolsa Mérito), offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
  • Emergency Grant (Bolsa Emergencial), offered by the MRE (not being offered at the moment).

More than one scholarship/grant at the same time:

• It s not possible to receive PROMISAES financial support and Merit Scholarshp at the same time;
• According to the Call for Applications no.10/2023/PRAE, of 28 July 2023, in its article 3: […] “§ 4 Participating students of the Programa Estudantes-Convênio de Graduação (PEC-G) are not the target audience for the Student Scholarship Program, for which there is a specific Call for Applications from the Projeto Milton Santos de Acesso ao Ensino Superior (PROMISAES) available through the Office of International Relations, at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (SINTER/UFSC). PEC-G participating students are the target audience for the remaining assistance programs which are not characterized by assistance scholarship.”
• It is allowed to receive the PROMISAES financial support and get paid for activities related to the program curriculum and scientific initiation, for instance, internship.

Other opportunities:

• PEC-G students are allowed to take part in research, outreach and student tutoring activities, as well as to carry out curricular internship, provided that the requirements of the temporary foreign residents legislation (Decree no. 7984/2013, article 13) are met.
•  The PEC-G student is a regular undergraduate student at UFSC.
