National Associations

UFSC’s membership in national higher education associations is based on institutional interest as well as on budget availability. There are annual membership and affiliation fees that must be paid by the member institutions, so budget forecasting is necessary. Application for membership in associations must be requested by UFSC faculty or staff members and should benefit the entire university community; therefore, it will depend on a thorough analysis by the university’s administration. Requests should be made by filling this form.

These are the national associations of which UFSC,  through the Office of International Relations (SINTER), is a member:

In addition to these associations, UFSC is also represented at the Conselho de Gestores de Relações Internacionais das Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior [Council of International Relations Managers of the Federal Higher Education Institutions] (CGRIFES) by the Secretary for International Relations.
