The Office of International Relations (SINTER) selects families for hosting students from Universiteit Leiden (Netherlands), with financial remuneration.

• Goal: Propitiate the expierience of living the routine of a brazilian family to the students;
• Housting period: March to June 2016.

Conditions for applying:

• The family may live in regions next to UFSC;
• There will be preference for families with sons, including children. The exchange students should be integrated to the family as a son/daughter, not only as a guest;
• The student must be hosted at an individual room and have unlimited access to internet (cable or Wi-Fi);
• The family must provide 2 meals per day during the week and 3 meals per day on saturdays, sundays and holidays;
• The student must have free access to washing machine and dryer, as well to products for washing clothes;
• The host family will be also responsible for welcoming the student on the day he/she arrives, picking him/her up at the airport or bus station;
• Bed and bathroom linen must be furnished by the host university.

Ps:

• There is no need of knowing other languages for hosting the students and they must be encouraged to practice Portuguese;
• The pre-selected families are going to be invited to a meeting the the UFSC Program Coordinator. The day will be informed  posteriorly. And may also, eventualy, be visited by a UFSC representant for analysis of the accomodations destinated to the student;
• After sending the informations, the pre-selected families will be contacted by e-mail/telephone;
• The remuneration value will be informed opportunely to the selected families.
