Between 23 and 24 June 2016, UFSC Secretary  for International Relations, Prof. Lincoln Fernandes, and the International Programs Coordinator, Elenir Marlene Vieira, attended the Meeting of Advisor Delegates of the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM).

Among the various agenda items discussed during the meeting, the principal item was the negotiation of mobility vacancies for students, professors and administrative staff for 2017. Despite the current economic crisis, the number of vacancies was kept as previously agreed and in the next semester an application call will be launched  for the entire university community.

The LXX AUGM Rectors Council Meeting will take place on 6 September, at the Universidad de la Republica in Montevideo, along with the seminar “25 años de AUGM. Una mirada hacia el futuro de la Educación Superior en Latinoamérica“. At this meeting, it will be discussed, among other things, the inclusion of other universities with proposals to be part of the Grupo Montevideo.
