SINTER launches a pilot project for the translation of academic documents for outgoing students


The Office of International Relations (SINTER), through the Translation Service, launched the Pilot Project for the translation of academic documents of undergraduate students applying for the International Exchange Program, Call for Applications no. 2/2022/SINTER, in the second semester of 2022.

The initiative meets the proposal of internationalization at UFSC, presented in the 2020-2024 Institutional Development Plan (PDI), and aims at attending part of the institution’s demand for the translation of academic documents.

Initially, the Pilot Project will assist undergraduate students that will undertake academic mobility through the International Exchange Program (Outgoing). The Translation Service will translate into English the Certificate of Enrollment and  the Summary Undergraduate Transcript of Records (issued by CAGR), which are the documents frequently requested by foreign institutions. Later one, the idea is to expand the proposal as well as the public that will be assisted by the project.

To have the documents translated, the students must send the updated documents, in Portuguese, along with the proof of application provided by UFSC’s online application system, to the e-mail The Translation Service will send the translated documents back to the students within 5 working days.
