The Jornadas de Jóvenes Investigadores, created in 1993, gather annually hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students from member universities of the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM), aiming at promoting student integration for future international research partnership. 

SINTER selects, annually, research projects from UFSC students, who receive a travel aid to participate in the event.
