The National Association of Directors of Federal Higher Education Institutions (ANDIFES), together with the Universidade de Brasilia (UnB) and the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo [Association of Montevideo Group Universities] (AUGM) promote the seminar “Educação Superior Pública na América Latina. Desafios e Perspectivas” [Public Higher Education in Latin America. Challenges and Perspectives]. The event will take place in hybrid format on 14 September, from 3 to 6 p.m.

3:20 p.m. – Rector of the Universidad Nacional del Noroeste de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (UNNOBA) and Vice-president of the Commission of International Affairs of the Consejo Interuniversitario Nacional [National Interuniversity Council] (CIN); Dr. Guillermo Tamarit.

3:35 p.m. – Rector of the Universidade de Brasilia (UnB), Dr. Márcia Abrahão Moura.

3:50 p.m. – Rector of the Universidad de Valparaíso, Vice-president of AUGM and President of the Consorcio de Universidades del Estado de Chile (CUECH), Dr. Osvaldo Enrique Corrales Jorquera.

4:05 p.m. – Rector of the Universidade Nacional do Este (UNE), Dr. Osvaldo de la Cruz Caballero Acosta.

4:20 p.m. – Moment of exchange of information between the rectors of AUGM, Andifes and participants.

5:30 p.m. – Seminar conclusions and closing ceremony.
