Program Fellow-Mundus offers scholarships (3rd call) – Applications until 15/01/2016

Fellow11The goal of Program Fellow-Mundus is to promote the academic exchange between Europe and Latin America, with scholarships that cover travel expenses, health insurance and monthly assistance.

The application deadline is 15 January 2016.

UFSC candidates can apply to the following students: Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Universidade do Algarve, Universidad de Sevilla, Wroclaw University of Technology, University of Warsaw and Universidad de Salamanca. The complete list with the academic offers and areas can be checked at the oficial program website.

In case of candidates linked to UFSC, they fit into Target Groups 1 e 3. Check the  quantity of scholarships available for this call:

Candidates regularly enrolled at UFSC

Target Group 3
Candidates in situations particularly vulnerable for political and social reasons*

Undergraduate 4
Master 3

 * Target Group 3 refers to candidates that are in situations particularly vulnerable, for economic, social or political reasons (low income, refugees, racial questions, political asylum, indigenous population, etc). In UFSC case, can be considered as Target Group 3:

  • Candidates with approved socioeconomic register by PRAE;
  • Candidates who were admitted at UFSC through Política de Ações Afirmativas (quota system);
  • Indigenous candidates;
  • Disabled candidates;
  • Candidates who receive assistance from any of the social assistance programs.

These candidates must prove ther situation through an institution declaration (with signature and stamp in the document).

Frequently asked questions:

  • The application must be done in English, independently of the chosen country;
  • As UFSC proof of enrollment, the documents accepted are Histórico Síntese and Controle Curricular (CAGR). The document must be signed and stamped by the course office or department;
  • There is no need of official translation for the documents;
  • While filling the form, where is asked “Contact at home institution”, the candidate must write the information from the department where is enrolled at UFSC;
  • For candidates who applied to institutions in Poland: while checking the academic offer wanted, if there is not a description of the kind of English proficiency exam requested, the TOEFL IBT (made through Inglês sem Fronteiras – UFSC) can be sent.
