The theme of the minicourse will be “Latin America as a dysfunctional family: conferences for analysis of regional integration processes” and it will be lectured by Professor Sébastien Dubé from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, who came to UFSC through the AUGM Escala Docente program.

The course will have two parts:

Part 1:

1. Game theory as a theoretical reference to understand the limits of Latin American interaction.
   2. The political use of regional organizations as an obstacle for Latin American integration.

Part 2:

1. Social psychology and the resilience of the Latin American integrationist agenda.
   2. Social psychology and the contradictions of Chilean foreign policy towards the Latin American region.
