The Office of International Relations (SINTER) announces the final results of the selection process for students to enroll in the international course “The Languages of Science”, in accordance with the Call for Applications no. 12/SINTER/2022.

According to the Call for Applications no. 12/SINTER/2022, “an alternate applicant may be called, in ranking order, if another selected applicant withdraws or if there is an opening of new seats”. Therefore, the selected students must confirm their commitment to enrolling in the course until 8 August 2022, through the email thelanguagesofscience@gmail.com, so that, in case there is any dropout, an alternate student can be called.

Still in accordance with the Call for Applications, the selected students’ obligations are:

10 OBLIGATIONS OF THE SELECTED STUDENTS:

10.1 Not to be enrolled in any other course scheduled at the same time as the BEG7029 course.  In other words, Tuesday afternoons of 2022.2 semester must be completely free of classes, internships, or any other academic commitment.

10.2 Be willing to participate in binational groups, which will interact with each other in English in order to develop a practical pedagogical innovation project (Teaching-tool Development), which will be evaluated at the end of the semester.

10.3 Actively participate in the weekly meetings, by joining in-person debates (if and when possible) or, when on a virtual platform, keep the camera and microphone on to speak in English.

10.4 Check and answer (where applicable) emails related to the course within a maximum of two business days, both in communication with the responsible professors and in communication with the special guests that may act as consultants in your practical project.
