SINTER welcomes visit from Universidade de Vigo, Spain
On 30 April, the Director of International Relations, Fernanda Leal, welcomed at SINTER Professor Óscar Ferreiro Vázquez, Area Director in the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization at the Universidade de Vigo (UVigo), Spain. He was accompanied by Professor Andréia Guerini, Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Translation Studies (PGET) at UFSC, with whom he collaborates on academic initiatives.
During the meeting, the directors discussed the renewal of the cooperation agreement between the two institutions and explored strategies to deepen their collaboration. Key initiatives include the pursuit of double degree and co-supervision agreements, as well as mobility grants through the European Union’s Erasmus+ Program. Once the agreement is renewed, SINTER will launch an internal call at UFSC to identify programs interested in participating in double degree and co-supervision opportunities.
