Due to the national strike, the office will be closed this Wednesday, July 11th.

Due to the national strike, the International Office  (SINTER) will be operating according to a special schedule.

The office will be open from 11 to 12 am and from 2 to 3 pm from Monday to Friday (-3 GMT). Priority will be given to emergencies and international students.

Our International Office – SINTER – communicates that due to the national strike of staff an faculties of Federal universities in Brazil, we cannot offer precise beginning and end dates for the August-December semester (2012.2), as specified on the academic calendar. We cannot predict how long the strike will last, nor guarantee that courses will be offered regularly. As of now UFSC facilities such as Library and Cafeteria are closed and will remain closed until the strike ends.

Each partner university will have to decide whether or not to send their students to UFSC for the next semester.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

The International Office – SINTER – has been temporarily closed due to recent damages caused by a storm.

As soon as our building is safely opperating, we will be open again.

The registration for foreign students who wish to study at UFSC during the second semester of 2012 (August – December) starts on March 19th.

In order to nominate their students, the Institutions must use the same login and password from previous nominations.

In case of loss, a new login and password must be required on the following email:
