The Regional meetings of the Brazilian Association of International Education  (FAUBAI) are part of the association’s activities to support and promote the internationalization of higher education in Brazil.

In 2021, the Southern Regional meeting was organized by the following HEIs: Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE), Universidade Estadual do Norte do Paraná (UENP), Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul (UNISC), Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (UFRGS).

The program included several lectures on aspects of the post-pandemic internationalization given by prominent professors in the area.
