  • Simplified Selection Process for French Teachers of the Languages Without Borders Program (IsF)

    Applications are open for the simplified selection process of French teachers to work in the UFSC Language Center (NucLi) linked to the Languages without Borders (IsF) Program.

    The application period is from 29 April 2019 to 29 May 2019.

    Applications must be made in person at the UFSC NucLi-IsF coordination office, located at Avenida Desembargador Vitor Lima, 222 – Trindade, Florianópolis, Rectorate Building II, ground floor, room 4.

  • [EXTENDED] Applications for AUGM Escala Grado Program open until 30 April

    SINTER announces that due to technical issues in the online application system yesterday (29 April), applications for the Escala Estudiantes de Grado Program, promoted by the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM), have been extended until 30 April 2019, 11:59 p.m.

    The dates for announcement of the first stage results and for filing appeals against these results have also been altered according to the schedule below:

    Applications From 27 March to 30 April 2019
    First stage result 2 May 2019
    Appeal against the first stage result 3 May 2019
    Interview with the selected applicants Between 6 and 10 May 2019
    Preliminary result Until 13 May 2019
    Appeal against the preliminary result Until 14 May 2019
    Final result Until 16 May 2019

  • II AUGM Conference on Water, Environment and Energy – Paper submission deadline on 30 April

    On 25, 26 and 27 September 2019, the Environment, Energy and Water Committees of the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM) will hold the II Conference on Water, Environment and Energy. The event will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay.

    Papers must be submitted until 30 April according to the format specified by AUGM. Click here to see the guidelines.

  • Workshop about Master’s Scholarships in Europe

    UFSC will host a workshop on how to apply and increase chances of being granted a master’s scholarship of the Erasmus Mundus Program in Europe. The workshop will take place at the Rectorate Building Auditorium on two dates:

    – 26 April 2019: from 10 a.m. to 11 am.

    – 2 May 2019: from 7p.m. to 8 p.m.

    The event is part of a #ESAAeu project called #HowToErasmus+, funded by the European Union, and will be conducted by a representative of Erasmus Mundus Association in Germany.

  • Trainee opportunity in the Netherlands

    On 23 April, the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Dr. Laurent Nelissen, will give a lecture on the Joinville Campus to present the TU/e Professional Doctorate in Process and Product Design and to recruit students for the program.

    The lecture will take place at the Auditorium 2 of the Perini Business Park, at 1 p.m..

  • Workshop: Studies about China at UFSC

    On 25 April 2019, at 6:30 p.m., UFSC will host a workshop on “Studies about China”. The workshop will take place at the mini auditorium of the School of Philosophy and Human Sciences (CFH).

    The event aims at encouraging student research about China and will have the participation of Vladimir Milton Pomar, a specialist on the Brazil-China relations.

    The workshop is organized by the Graduate Program of International Relations (PPGRI/UFSC), the Graduate Program in Political Sociology (PPGSP/UFSC) and the Office of International Relations (SINTER/UFSC).
