UFSC welcomes 154 international students in the 2017 first semester
The reception of international students coming to study at UFSC in the first semester of 2017 will be held on 3 March (Friday), at 10 am, in the Rectorate Building’s Auditorium. The University will receive 154 exchange students from 20 different countries, through the Incoming, Bracol, Bramex, AUGM and Leiden programs. The Incoming program hosts students from partner institutions that have bilateral agreements with UFSC, without receiving scholarships or grants. The others are programs in which UFSC participates by receiving and sending undergraduate students abroad, and these include financial assistance. The event will be attended by the Rector Luiz Carlos Cancellier de Oliveira, the Vice-Rector, Alacoque Lorenzini Erdmann, the Secretary for International Relations, Lincoln Fernandes, and the International Programs Coordinator, Elenir Vieira.

The Office of International Relations (SINTER) informs that applications for the Programa Escala de Estudiantes de Grado 2017.2 of the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM) are open according t
o the Public Call no. 4/2017/SINTER.The program is aimed at undergraduate students from UFSC. Thirteen students will be selected and distributed among universities in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Open call for the UFSC- UHK Mobility Program
The Office for International Relations (SINTER) announces that applications for the UFSC – UHK Mobility Program are open. The program allows the realization of academic exchange between undergraduate students of University of Hradec Královée and UFSC undergraduate students. The exchange is intended for students in undergraduate programs in Anthropology, Social Sciences, Philosophy, History, Languages and International Relations, who are interested in deepening their knowledge on European society, thinking and politics.

UFSC Student: Join USAC Conversation Partnership Program!
USAC is an international program that receives undergraduate students from the USA and other countries who come to Brazil to study at UFSC.
The next group of students will arrive on 24 January and will stay in town until mid-May. The group is formed by 20 students – 18 Americans and 2 Swedish.
USAC’s Conversation Partnership Program allows UFSC students to meet people from other countries and cultures and to improve their English skills through practice.
The semester starts in January with some scheduled events, after which you will stay in touch with your partner and all of USAC’s group!
