Estão abertas, até 17 de julho de 2026, as inscrições para os cursos de Mandarim do Instituto Confúcio da Unicamp, oferecendo turmas para diferentes níveis de proficiência.A comunidade da UFSC interessada em obter o benefício de 90% de desconto deve seguir as orientações disponíveis na seção “Sou aluno da UNICAMP/UFSC. Como faço para ter bolsa de 90%?”, onde estão detalhados os procedimentos necessários para a concessão da bolsa.

SINTER recognized for its role in the governance of the BRIDGES – CAPES Global.Edu Network

SINTER/UFSC receives recognition.
SINTER was recognized during the official launch of the BRIDGES Network, an initiative selected under CAPES Global.Edu – a national program aimed at strengthening the internationalization of Brazilian higher education.
As a member of the BRIDGES Network Steering Committee, SINTER received recognition for its contribution to the network’s governance. The recognition acknowledged the efforts behind the establishment of the BRIDGES Network, the result of the collaboration among administrators, researchers, and internationalization professionals who secured the initiative’s approval under the CAPES Global.Edu program.
SINTER was represented at the event by the Secretary for International Relations, Dr. Fernanda Leal, who attended the launch ceremony and received the recognition.
The BRIDGES – Building Research and Innovation towards Development and Global Exchange for Sustainability – Network seeks to strengthen cooperation among Brazilian higher education institutions by promoting strategic internationalization initiatives, sharing best practices, and developing policies aimed at the international integration of universities.

UFSC hosts representatives from the Embassy and Consulate General of Poland to strengthen international cooperation
SINTER — represented by the Secretary for International Relations, Dr. Fernanda Leal, and the Acting Director of International Relations, Bruno Farias — hosted representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Brazil and the Consulate General of Poland for a meeting aimed at strengthening academic ties between the two countries.Attendees included Maciej Brodowicz, from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Brasília, Wojciech Baczyński, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Curitiba, and Professor Izabela Maria Drozdowska-Broering, from the UFSC’s Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures (DLLE).
During the meeting, the participants discussed possibilities to expand international cooperation between UFSC and Polish higher education and research institutions. Topics included establishing new academic partnerships, developing joint projects, and expanding opportunities for scientific collaboration.
Another key topic was expanding academic mobility opportunities for UFSC students interested in exchange programs in Poland, thereby promoting the exchange of knowledge, culture, and research between the two countries.

SINTER represents UFSC at celebration marking the 250th Anniversary of U.S. Independence
UFSC was represented at the celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States, held on 16 June at Farol Santander in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. The Acting Director of International Relations (SINTER), Bruno Wanderley Farias, attended the event on behalf of the university.

Hosted by the U.S. Consulate General in Porto Alegre, the celebration was led by U.S. Consul General Jason Green and his husband, Lucilo Perondi Junior. The event was part of the commemorations for the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence and brought together university representatives, business leaders, political authorities, members of the Armed Forces from the southern states of Brazil, and consular officials. The evening featured presentations and opportunities for networking among the attendees.
