About the partnership between BJTU, IC Unicamp and UFSC:
The cooperation between BJTU, IC Unicamp and UFSC takes place through Confucius Teaching Classroom at UFSC, set up following negotiations by the Office of International Relations (SINTER), with the support of the Instituto de Estudos sobre a China [Institute for Studies on China] (ICHIN) and the Rector´s Office. The Mandarin classses are being offered online to UFSC community since the beginning of 2024. In the second half of the year, the demand for the courses exceeded expectations and four groups were offered instead of two groups, as originally proposed. At the beginning of 2025, UFSC will welcome a professor from the IC Unicamp to offer on-campus classes to the university community.
In September 2024, SINTER, ICHIN and IC Unicamp held the seminar “Desafios e Potencialidades na Cooperação Acadêmica Brasil/China” [Challenges and Potentialities in Brazil-China Academic Cooperation] at UFSC. Access here to watch the seminar.
