Incoming Exchange Program receives 85 applications for the 1st semester of 2025
The exchange program for international students from partner universities for one or two semesters (Incoming Program), in addition to the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo [Association of Montevideo Group Universities] (AUGM) Escala Grado Program, received 83 applications for the first semester of 2025, more than the first semester of 2024, when UFSC received 76 applications, resulting in seventy students coming to UFSC.
The students enrolled for the first semester of 2025 come from sixteen different countries and 45 institutions, reflecting the institutional internationalization policy focused on multilateralism. The three countries with the highest number of applicants are France (30), Portugal (10) and Italy (5).

In addition to these new potential international students, 4 students from China and 2 from France arrived at UFSC in the second semester of 2024 and will extend their exchange period for another semester.
