Internship for international students
Foreign students can undertake an internship in Brazil for up to 4 months (120 days) without being enrolled at a Brazilian educational institution. In this case, the internship agreement can be signed by the student’s home institution and the Brazilian company hosting the student.
For internships lasting more than 120 days, foreign students must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in Brazil, and the internship agreement must also be signed by the Brazilian educational institution, subject to the validity period of the temporary student visa, which is valid for one year.
