Internship for international students
Foreign students can apply for an internship in Brazil for a period up to 4 months (120 days) without the need to be enrolled at a Brazilian education institution. In this case, the internship contract can be signed by the student’s home institution and the Brazilian company that is hosting the student.
For internships lasting over 120 days, foreign students must be enrolled at an undergraduate program in Brazil and the internship contract must also be signed by the Brazilian host education institution, bearing in mind the term of the temporary student visa, which is of one year.
