  • Applications open for the USAC Study Buddy Program

    Applications are open for the USAC Buddy Program. The Buddy Program is an initiative of the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) – Florianópolis for UFSC students to make friends from other countries and cultures and improve their English through practice. At first, USAC will promote a few integration events with the study abroad students, and, later, the UFSC student will keep in touch with his/her buddy.   • 2020 Erasmus + UFSC – UHK Mobility Program – First stage results/Call for interviews

    The Office of International Relations (SINTER) announces the list of students selected for the interview stage of the Call for Applications no. 14 SINTER 2019 – UHK Erasmus +.

    According to item 8.4 of the call, “applicants approved in the first stage will be called for the second stage, consisting of an interview conducted in English”.

  • Applications open for the 1st SINTER International Academic Mobility Program – until 8 September 2019

    The Office of International Relations (SINTER) announces that applications for the first SINTER International Academic Mobility (IAM) Program are open, according to the Call for Applications no. 15 SINTER 2019.

    Through resources from the Brazilian Ministry of Education’s University Development Plan (PDU) for the internationalization of federal universities, SINTER offers financial assistance to undergraduate students regularly enrolled at UFSC who are in a socioeconomic vulnerability situation (duly demonstrated).

    Four undergraduate students regularly enrolled at UFSC will be selected to receive the financial assistance of R$ 15,000 (fifteen thousand reais) to pay for airfare, accommodation, food expenses and fees during the mobility period.

    To participate, students must send digitized copies of the documentation required as listed on item 6 of the Call for Applications, saved in a single PDF file, to the e-mail programas.sinter@contato.ufsc.br between 16 August and 8 September 2019.

  • Internship vacancy at SINTER – starting immediately

    Internship vacancy at SINTER’s International Programs Coordination Office.

    Target students (exclusively from UFSC): Executive Secretariat, Languages and Literature, Administration or International Relations undergraduates.

    Work hours:  from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (20 hours/week)

    Remuneration: R$ 364,00 + R$ 132,00 (transportation vouchers) = R$496,00.

    Requirements: 2nd semester of studies or beyond, no course failure due to unsatisfactory attendance, fluency in English, excellent writing, ease in operating administrative systems, responsibility, initiative and punctuality. Knowledge of other languages is desirable.

    Internship duties: Assist in administrative tasks related to the International Exchange Programs (serving the university community and the public in general; contacting foreign partner institutions; operating emails and administrative systems; updating spreadsheets; etc.)
