SINTER announces the result of the selection process for the Programa Escala de Estudiantes de Posgrado from AUGM, in accordance with the Public Call nº 2/SINTER/2016.The classified master’s students are:

Applications for the Programa Escala de Estudiantes de Grado 2017.1 are open until 2 October
The Office of International Relations (SINTER) informs that applications for the Programa Escala de Estudiantes de Grado 2017.1 of the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM) are open according to the Public Call no. 11/2016/SINTER.The program is aimed at undergraduate students from UFSC. Seventeen students will be selected and distributed among universities in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

The Office of International Relations (SINTER) publishes that applications for Programa UFSC-UHK are open according to the Extended public call nº. 08/SINTER/2016. UFSC-UHK Programme, created within the scope of the cooperation agreement between Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) and the University of Hradec Králove (UHK), in the Czech Republic, offers scholarships to undergraduate students from the following courses: Anthropology, Social Sciences, Philosophy or History. The scholarship will help cover transport, food and accommodation expenses during exchange programme period at UHK.

Projeto Imagine brings scientific communities closer together
The Projeto Imagine was created aiming with the aim to of encouraging education and the scientific development in marginalized regions of countries in Latin American and African countries, regions which are historically hurt damaged by social and economic conditions. This initiative believes in the international solidarity and in the cooperation between institutional partnerships partner institutions with new and practical results in several communities.UFSC, specificallyin particular, focuses in on indigenous areas in ourthe state, who which needs a formal education that respects their traditions and adapts to their singular geographic and social conditions, that makes more difficulthinder the people access of indigenous people to the knowledge.

UFSC English without Borders Program offers courses for the second semester
The UFSC English without Borders Program (Inglês sem Fronteiras) is offering several English courses free of charge to the entire community of UFSC, in the second semester of 2016. Applications can be done from 1 to 15 August. To apply and learn more, visit the Ministry of Education’s website or the program’s website.
