Next Wednesday (23 November), an informative lecture about Swinburne University – an Australian university located in Melbourne, with which UFSC has an agreement – will be held on campus. The lecture is co-organized by SINTER and Priscila Trevisan, a representative of Swinburne University, and will draw on exchange possibilities, forms of admission and the Australian university system. The event will take place in Room 101, at the Building B of the School of Technology (CTC), at 11 am.
A delegation formed by representatives of 8 Swedish universities came to UFSC last Friday (21 October) to get to know our university and to present to UFSC students the opportunities to study in Swedish universities, as well as their vision about university education and a little bit of their culture.
Two lectures were delivered, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, having as their main topic “Study in Sweden”. In addition to the lecture, booths were set up in the EFI auditorium hall, so that the studentsinterested could contact the Swedish institutions directly and clarify their doubts.
The event was co-organized by SINTER and was attended by nearly 80 students.
A delegation formed by representatives of Swedish universities will come to UFSC on 21 October 2016 to get to know our university and discuss the establishment of institutional ties. The visit will include a lecture to UFSC students, starting at 11 am and at 3pm, on the Swedish university system, its universities, culture, exchange opportunities and academic system. A booth with information on the Swedish universities will be installed in the EFI auditorium hall, where the lecture will take place, from 10 am to 5pm. Last Friday (7 October), the German Academic Exchange Service representative, Dr. Svenja Brünger, delivered a lecture on exchange programs and how to apply for scholarships and fee exemption in Germany. She clarified doubts about admission to undergraduate and master’s degree programs, as well as about summer and winter courses and the cost of living in the country.

Representatives of the United States Consulate, the Vice-Consul Kendra Arbaiza-Sundal and the Consular Assistant José Ricardo Gumiero, delivered a lecture last Wednesday (5 October), in the Harry Laus Room at the University Library, on the different types of visa required to study, work and live in the United States, clarifying doubts of all the participants. The main goal was to demystify information about the application process and the requirements to apply for each type of visa. The event had the support of the Office of International Relations (SINTER) and was attended by nearly 30 people from UFSC community looking for better understanding of the system.
Last Friday, SINTER, in partnership with the Italian university system UNIFAIDATE and the representative of the “Promozione del sistema universitario italiano nel mondo” program, has hosted a lecture about academic mobility in Italy for undergraduate and graduate students. The event was attended by nearly 30 people who could clarify their doubts about how to enter the European university system, how to apply for scholarships and about the local culture.
