Last Friday (7 October), the German Academic Exchange Service representative, Dr. Svenja Brünger, delivered a lecture on exchange programs and how to apply for scholarships and fee exemption in Germany. She clarified doubts about admission to undergraduate and master’s degree programs, as well as about summer and winter courses and the cost of living in the country.

United States Vice-Consul delivered a lecture last Wednesday, 5 October

Representatives of the United States Consulate, the Vice-Consul Kendra Arbaiza-Sundal and the Consular Assistant José Ricardo Gumiero, delivered a lecture last Wednesday (5 October), in the Harry Laus Room at the University Library, on the different types of visa required to study, work and live in the United States, clarifying doubts of all the participants. The main goal was to demystify information about the application process and the requirements to apply for each type of visa. The event had the support of the Office of International Relations (SINTER) and was attended by nearly 30 people from UFSC community looking for better understanding of the system.

14556026_1106498542767815_1682795324_nLast Friday, SINTER, in partnership with the Italian university system UNIFAIDATE and  the representative of the “Promozione del sistema universitario italiano nel mondo” program, has hosted a lecture about academic mobility in Italy for undergraduate and graduate students. The event was attended by nearly 30 people who could clarify their doubts about how to enter the European university system, how to apply for scholarships and about the local culture.
