SINTEGRA

The SINTEGRA: International student paths: support and integration project aims to create welcoming spaces and strengthen the integration of international students from the Programa Estudantes-Convênio de Graduação (PEC-G) into UFSC.

The project addresses academic matters, the sense of university community, cultural issues, and ethnic and racial issues.

SINTEGRA is a partnership between SINTER and the UFSC Department of Psychology. It is coordinated by Professors Elka Hostensky and Lígia Feitosa, with the collaboration of Professor Valéria Mattos and Psychology undergraduate students.

Currently, the project holds weekly meetings with international students, develops informational materials about university life at UFSC, offers training sessions for staff and students, organizes a Student Integration Program, and creates content on Instagram.
