Registrations open for USAC Spring 2019 courses in English

11:04:44

The University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) is a non-profit organization that has as one of its purposes to offer English learning opportunities for UFSC’s academic community.

In this sense, it offers seats for UFSC students to attend courses in several areas – all of them taught completely in English. These courses are also attended by USAC foreign students.

To register, students must have an advanced level of English, especially of listening, writing and speaking skills, since student participation during classes is essential.

Students who attend at least 75% of the classes will receive a course completion certificate.

Requirements:

  • Be regularly enrolled at UFSC;
  • Have an advanced level of English (classes and course material will be in English);
  • Have time availability and commitment to attend classes.

There are no course prerequisites and students from any undergraduate program may register.

Registration:

Those interested in attending the courses must go to USAC’s office (Room 219, Building A – CCE) to write an essay, do a brief interview in English, hand in their courses schedule for the 2019.1 semester, and sign an agreement term.
