Public Hearing on the Health Insurance Plan at UFSC
On 16 August (next Friday), at 3 p.m., a Public Hearing will be held on the School of Technology (CTC) Auditorium to provide clarifications regarding the construction of the new health insurance plan of UFSC.
All staff, faculty, retirees and pensioners are invited to participate.

On 2 August, next Friday, the Office of International Relations (SINTER) will hold a welcome session for international students who will be joining UFSC in the second semester of 2019. The event will take place at the Rectorate Building Auditorium, at 10 a.m., and will have the participation of the University’s Vice-Rector, Prorectors, the Secretary for International Relations, other secretaries and external guests.
The student Gabriela Ferreira da Silva, from the International Relations program, was approved to participate in the 10th edition of the Programme for the Strengthening of Civil Service in Latin America, an exchange program administered by the Spanish organization Fundación Botín that aims to promote vocation and talent for the civil service. Thirty-two undergraduate students are selected every year. Gabriela was selected among 6,315 contestants from 20 different countries of Latin America.
Applications are open for the USAC Study Buddy Program. USAC – University Studies Abroad Consortium – is a non-profit, university-based organization that has as one of its purposes to offer English learning opportunities for UFSC’s academic community. The Study Buddy Program is an initiative for UFSC students to get to know students from other countries and cultures and improve their English through practice.
