Beacause of the large number of participants in the first exhibition on 1 June, the Webinar on University Internationalization “Como pueden las IES desarrollar una estrategia comprehensiva de internacionalización?” will have a second exhibition on 8 June, at 5:00 p.m. In addition, the Webinar will be recorded and will be made available at the Erasmus+ RIESEL channel on YouTube or on the following site: http://erasmusplusriesal.org/.

On 23 June 2017, a lecture on the U.S. student visa will be held at the Helk Hering auditorium (University Library), at 11 am. Representatives from the United States Consulate, Liliana Cruz and Cindy Diouf, will talk to the students with the aim of demystifying the visa application process as a whole, and they will also talk specifically about student visas and exchange. The lecture will last for 1 hour, and the last 15 minutes will be reserved for questions.

Dr. Hans Wit, an expert in internationalization and current Director of the Center for International Higher Education (CIHE) at Boston College, United States, will address the concept of internationalization and discuss its challenges and opportunities.

The webinar will be in Spanish with visual supports in English and will take place on June 1, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.

Registration is open for the Winter School of the University of Chile, in Santiago, Chile. The program is aimed at young researchers from Latin America and the Caribbean, graduates or masters, who wish to continue their studies in the areas of biochemistry, biological sciences / biomedicine, pharmacy and neuroscience. The course will begin on June 24, 2017 and end on the 28th. The selected students will have the travel expenses paid by the institution, ie the tickets, lodging, financial assistance for lunch and dinner and insurance.
