42nd Anniversary of the Independence of Cape Verde

On 5 July 2017, at 6:00 pm, an event will be held in celebration of the 42nd Anniversary of the Independence of Cape Verde. Among the activities are lectures, Cape Verdean musical attractions, poetry and dances.

The resident director of the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), in the exercise of his duties, makes public the final result of the selecction process for the UFSC-USAC Exchange Program, regulated by the USAC Call for Scholarships of 5 May 2017.

The University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), an international exchange program linked to UFSC since 2013 through a cooperation agreement, begins its next Summer II academic period on Wednesday, 28 June , with an orientation session at the Rectorate Building II, and intensive Portuguese language classes, as well as other classes in academic areas related to Brazil, beginning on June 29 with the participation of undergraduate students from UFSC.
The program will receive 20 undergraduate students from North American universities, 1 administrative staff member and 1 visiting professor specialized in African American Literature.
Places available on USAC courses in Anthropology, International Development, Natural Resource Management, Literature and Gender, Cinema, Economics and Capoeira.

USAC – University Studies Abroad Consortium is a non-profit institution that has established a partnership with UFSC in 2013 to promote exchange between international students and the university community as a whole through academic, cultural and linguistic immersion.

Final Result – UFSC-UHK Scholarship Program

The Office of International Relations (SINTER) announces the final result for UFSC-UHK Program, which offers scholarships for a semester of study in the University of Hradec Králove, Czech Republic. The university is offering two places for the second semester of 2017, according to the Public Call no. 09/2017/SINTER.
The classified students are:
1º Raquel dos Santos Melo
2º Leonardo Moura da Silva
In due course, the selected students will be contacted by the Office of International Relations (SINTER) for proper instructions.
