SINTER announces that applications for the program “Bolsas Ibero-Americanas para estudantes de Graduação Santander Universidades” are open, according to the Public Call no. 07/SANTANDER UNIVERSIDADES/SINTER/2016. The program, financed by Banco Santander S.A. do Brasil, offers scholarships to students enrolled at universities associated to Santander, enabling mobility between Ibero-American countries.

The Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina was ranked 9th in Brazil and 576th in the 2016-2017 World Ranking by the University Ranking by Academic Performance -URAP. Since 2009, URAP annually collects information from three thousand higher education institutions with the largest number of academic publications to evaluate them.

From April 26 to May 15, applications for the UFSC Study Buddy Program are open for the semester of 2017.2.

This program was created with the purpose of guiding and assisting international students on how to proceed in the their first days in Florianópolis and at UFSC and, in return, it offers our students the opportunity to be in contact with students from foreign universities and cultures from all over the world.
