The Office of International Relations (SINTER) informs that applications for the exchange program between Brazil and Mexico (BRAMEX), whose main purpose is to encourage higher education students to go on exchange between member institutions of the Grupo Coimbra de Universidades Brasileiras (GCUB) and the Instituciones de Educación Superior de la República Mexicana (ANUIES), are open.
Applications must be done until 16 October, 2016.

Representatives of the United States Consulate, the Vice-Consul Kendra Arbaiza-Sundal and the Consular Assistant José Ricardo Gumiero, delivered a lecture last Wednesday (5 October), in the Harry Laus Room at the University Library, on the different types of visa required to study, work and live in the United States, clarifying doubts of all the participants. The main goal was to demystify information about the application process and the requirements to apply for each type of visa. The event had the support of the Office of International Relations (SINTER) and was attended by nearly 30 people from UFSC community looking for better understanding of the system.

Last Friday, SINTER, in partnership with the Italian university system UNIFAIDATE and the representative of the “Promozione del sistema universitario italiano nel mondo” program, has hosted a lecture about academic mobility in Italy for undergraduate and graduate students. The event was attended by nearly 30 people who could clarify their doubts about how to enter the European university system, how to apply for scholarships and about the local culture.
The Italian university system UNIFAIDATE, in collaboration with MIUR – MAECI – REGIONE ITALIANE – CRUI (“Promozione del sistema universitario italiano nel mondo”) and in partnership with SINTER/UFSC, promotes the lecture “Academic Mobility Italy – Brazil” this coming Friday, 30 September, in the Aroeira Room, first floor of UFSC Culture and Events Center, at 11:00 am.

The Office of International Relations (SINTER), according to the call EDITAL Nº 9/SINTER /2016, of 22 July 2016, publishes the result of the selection at UFSC of technical and administrative staff in educatoin selected for exchange in one of the member universities of Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM), through Programa Escala de Gestores y Administradores.
We highlight that this is the result of the selection realized at UFSC and that the definitive acceptance by the host university will happen only after the first meeting of Delegates Advisors of AUGM in 2016. The selected by UFSC will be informed about the procedures to be taken.
