The Office of International Relations (SINTER) publishes that applications for Programa de Jóvenes Líderes Iberoamericanos are open according to the Edital Nº 7/SINTER/2016, DE 01 DE JULHO DE 2016. The Program aims to consolidate bonds between Ibero Americans ledears, creating collaboration nets in future professional, politic and social track. The Program will grant scholarship to participate for two weeks in conferences, meetings, and visits in Spain. The participation in the program and the granting of scholarships are free of charge.

Between 23 and 24 June 2016, UFSC Secretary for International Relations, Prof. Lincoln Fernandes, and the International Programs Coordinator, Elenir Marlene Vieira, attended the Meeting of Advisor Delegates of the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM).
Among the various agenda items discussed during the meeting, the principal item was the negotiation of mobility vacancies for students, professors and administrative staff for 2017. Despite the current economic crisis, the number of vacancies was kept as previously agreed and in the next semester an application call will be launched for the entire university community.

Last Tuesday (21 June 2016), SINTER received a visit from Professor Federica Bondioli of the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Industriale from the Università degli Studi di Parma. The visit was aimed at obtaining information on the agreement that the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina already has with that institution, as well as to spread the good news that we will have an Erasmus Plus program between the Università degli Studi di Parma and UFSC.
Professors Marcio Celso Fredel, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Luciana Maccarini Schabbach, from the Department of Materials Engineering (Blumenau Campus) and the Dean of the School of Technology (CTC), Prof. Edson Roberto Pieri also attended the meeting.

SINTER announces that applications for the program “Bolsas Ibero-Americanas para estudantes de Graduação Santander Universidades” are open, according to the Public Call no. 06/SANTANDER UNIVERSIDADES/SINTER/2016. The program, financed by Banco Santander S.A. do Brasil, offers scholarships to students enrolled at universities associated to Santander, enabling mobility between Ibero-American countries.
