UFSC hosts representatives from the Embassy and Consulate General of Poland to strengthen international cooperation

SINTER — represented by the Secretary for International Relations, Dr. Fernanda Leal, and the Acting Director of International Relations, Bruno Farias — hosted representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Brazil and the Consulate General of Poland for a meeting aimed at strengthening academic ties between the two countries.

Attendees included Maciej Brodowicz, from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Brasília, Wojciech Baczyński, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Curitiba, and Professor Izabela Maria Drozdowska-Broering, from the UFSC’s Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures (DLLE).

During the meeting, the participants discussed possibilities to expand international cooperation between UFSC and Polish higher education and research institutions. Topics included establishing new academic partnerships, developing joint projects, and expanding opportunities for scientific collaboration.

Another key topic was expanding academic mobility opportunities for UFSC students interested in exchange programs in Poland, thereby promoting the exchange of knowledge, culture, and research between the two countries.
