SINTER offers online training for campuses internationalization agents
SINTER promoted on 8, 9 and 10 September 2021, the second training to UFSC campuses internationalization agents. The nomination of internationalization agents is an initiative that aims at socializing the knowledge of procedures relating to the university internationalization, especially with regards to serving the national and international UFSC community.The training seeks an integration of the multicampi UFSC and the preparation of the agents with the necessary practices to answer questions and contribute to the transversal internationalization at UFSC.

Erasmus+ Sapienza Università di Roma – Applications are open for pre-selection of undergraduate students
Applications are open for the Erasmus + UFSC – Sapienza Undergraduate Mobility Program, according to the Call No. 18 SINTER 2021 Sapienza Graduação.
The objective of this Call is to pre-select UFSC undergraduate students for selection at Sapienza Università di Roma. There are no places reserved for UFSC students in this selection process. The final decision will be made exclusively by Sapienza Università di Roma. Among the 8 (eight) total places available in this pre-selection, 2 (two) will be reserved for students with the socioeconomic register approved by PRAE and who present supporting documents, according to item 6.7 of this Call.
The candidate must send a scanned copy of all the documentation listed in item 6 of this Call, in Portable Document Format (.pdf), to the e-mail address programas.sinter@contato.ufsc.br between 10 September and 30 September 2021.

Erasmus+ University of Cádiz Program – Scholarship for administrative staff mobility
SINTER announces Call 17 SINTER 20121 for the selection process of administrative staff to go on an international mobility to University of Cadiz for the period of up to a week for training purposes.

Times Higher Education (THE) announces the results of the World University Rankings 2022
The Teams Higher Education (THE) has published the results of the World University Rankings 2022, listing the best universities in the world.In this 2022 edition, the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) was ranked among the 801 – 1000 best in the world and among the ten best in Brazil, being ranked in the same range of institutions such as the Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Universidade de Fortaleza, PUC-RJ and PUC-RS.
The data collected by the magazine from educational institutions are referred to 2 years prior to publication that is to say that the data in this edition are from 2019.
The Times Higher Education (THE) is a British magazine that publishes news and articles about higher education, affiliated to The Times newspaper, which annually prepares a set of rankings considered to be one of the most comprehensive, balanced and reliable in the world. To evaluate universities, thirteen indicators are analyzed in order to measure their performance, such as teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 includes more than 1600 universities from 99 countries.
