The Director of International Relations at UFSC, Diogo Robl, participated this week, on 18 October , in two international online university events: Università di Bologna – UNIBO from Italy and Ernst-Abbe-University of Applies Sciences – EAH JENA from Germany.
UNIBO organized online sessions at the Virtual International Fair Initiative (VIFI) with representatives from partner universities to introduce and promote the institutions. The presentation included information about the University, opportunities and services for exchange students, ways to search for information in the programs catalogue and explanations about the organization of the calendar, classes and teaching activities. The initiative aimed to increase the mobility of exchange students. In addition to UFSC, other Brazilian universities participated, such as UFRGS, PUC-RIO, PUC-PR, and USP.
EAH JENA held an online virtual fair, the “Virtual Fair – International Day 2021” with the presentation of partner universities in booths. University representatives were available to answer questions in a live chat. The event had the participation of countries like Austria, Jordan, France, Indonesia, The Netherlands, Estonia, Peru and Chile.
According to the director of SINTER, professor Diogo Robl “The two events reinforce the importance of these virtual initiatives for the internationalization of UFSC in times of pandemic and social distancing and we are always receptive to collaborations that contribute to the international promotion of the university.”
