The Office of International Relations (SINTER) announces that applications for the Projeto Milton Santos de Acesso ao Ensino Superior (PROMISAES) 2018 are open from 15 January to 4 February 2018. The project is offered by the Ministry of Education (MEC) to students from the Programa de Estudantes-Convênio de Graduação (PEC-G) at UFSC.

The Office of International Relations (SINTER) announces that applications for the UFSC-UHK Program are open according to the Public Call no. 02/SINTER/2018. UFSC-UHK Program, created within the scope of the cooperation agreement between Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) and the University of Hradec Králove (UHK), in the Czech Republic, offers scholarships to undergraduate students from the following programs: Anthropology, Social Sciences, Philosophy, History or International Relations. The scholarship will help cover transport, food and accommodation expenses during the period of the exchange program at UHK. All courses will be taught in English, therefore, proficiency in the language is required.

On 7 December, last Thursday, the Office of International Relations (SINTER) staff participated in a lecture held by the UFSC Office of Innovation (SINOVA) with the aim of discussing topics such as intellectual property, patents, entrepreneurship, technology parks, partnerships and technology transfer.
The important role of incubators in the growth of entrepreneurial initiatives within the university and the role of SINOVA in stimulating the entrepreneurial spirit in the academic community were also highlighted.
The event was organized by SINTER’s International Programs Coordinator, Elenir Vieira, together with SINOVA’s team.
