The Office of International Relations (SINTER) presents the NILT Guide, a resource for the university community detailing the services offered by the Institutional Center for Languages and Translation (NILT/SINTER) at UFSC, including information about its staff and the courses offered.
The guide, available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, aims to promote NILT’s activities across the entire UFSC community. SINTER recognizes the importance of providing this information in multiple languages to support the University’s internationalization policy, ensuring it reaches a diverse global audience.

The Internationalization Workshops of Prof. Dr. Lina Abraitienè, from Vytautas Magnus University, will be held this week between 5 and June 2023. The in-person event is being promoted by SINTER in partnership with the Institutional Center for Languages and Translation (NILT), the Graduate Program in English: Linguistic and Literary Studies (PPGI) and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures (DLLE).
The aim of the Internationalization Workshops is to offer an international learning experience to UFSC students with a view to improving their English language competences and skills. The workshops will also contribute to the consolidation of the existing partnership between UFSC and Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), since the instructor, Prof. Dr. Lina Abraitienė, is a professor at VMU and is coming to UFSC through the “Mobility Agreement – Staff Mobility for Teaching” celebrated between the two HEIs.
