Call for proposals for online extension courses at UFSC is launched today

17:58:49

From 23 February to 1 March, UFSC faculty members will be able to propose online extension courses through the Call for Proposals nº. 01/2021/PROEX/SINTER/SEAD/SEPLAN. The initiative was developed in response to the various institutional needs and as an alternative to the face-to-face activities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The call is for course proposals that are interdisciplinary and predominantly taught in a foreign language, and that can contribute to the quality of teaching at UFSC and to the institutional internationalization process, including to the internationalization “at home”.

These online extension courses will also be a valuable contribution to UFSC’s Virtual Mobility Program, replacing the on-campus activities currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Up to ten course proposals will be selected. Each course coordinator will receive a scholarship and two student scholarships may be granted for each proposal.

The courses must be offered on the UFSC Moodle Groups platform.

Read the call for proposals here and check the eligibility criteria, the relevant procedures, the scholarship amounts and the schedule for activities.
