To meet the needs of students during social isolation, ETS is temporarily offering the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition. The TOEFL iBT tests will be administered from home until 30 September. For further information, visit ETS website.

The Central Administration of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) has extended the suspension of the university’s in-person academic and administrative activities until 31 May, according to the Normative Ordinance no. 359 published this Wednesday, 29 April.

The 2020-2021 UFSC catalogue of courses offered  in foreign languages for graduate and undergraduate students is already available here.

The Office of International Relations (SINTER) announces that applications for the 2020 PROMISAES Financial Support are open from 23 January to 31 October 2020. The awards are offered by the Ministry of Education (MEC) to students from the Programa de Estudantes-Convênio de Graduação (PEC-G) at UFSC.

Welcome to USAC Buddy Program!

USAC is an international program which receives undergraduate students from the USA, among other countries, who come to Brazil to study at UFSC. The next group of students will stay in the country from 22 January 2020 to 8 May 2020.

The USAC Study Buddy Program is an initiative for UDESC (Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina) and UFSC students to have an exchange experience by getting to know students of other countries, learning about their cultures, and improving their English skills.

The Office of International Relations (SINTER) announces the final results of the selection process for undergraduate exchange scholarships at the Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten (Germany), in accordance with the Call for Applications 17 SINTER 2019 – PHW.

The selected students will be contacted by SINTER in due time.

The Office of International Relations (SINTER) announces the students approved in the second stage of the selection process for an undergraduate exchange scholarship at the Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten (Germany), in accordance with the Call for Applications 17 SINTER 2019 – PHW. The second stage of the selection process consisted of individual interviews with a committee made up of UFSC faculty members.

The applicant who wishes to file an appeal against the results of the selection process must do so until 11:59 p.m. of 6 December 2019. The appeal must be sent to the e-mail outgoing.sinter@contato.ufsc.br in accordance with the terms established in the Call.

The selected students will be contacted by SINTER in due time.
